It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Richmond ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They managed a 74-68 victory over the Southern Lee Cavaliers. The win was familiar territory for the Raiders who have now won 13 contests in a row.

Richmond's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Keyonta Davis, who went 6 of 12 on his way to 19 points. Amer Morrison was another key player, going 8 for 12 en route to 18 points.

Richmond pushed their record up to 14-7 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.3 points over those games. As for Southern Lee, their loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richmond will head out to challenge Pine Forest at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Southern Lee, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Union Pines at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Union Pines is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 65 points per game this season.
