Baseball Game Preview: Beckman Trailblazers vs. North Linn Lynx

The Beckman Trailblazers will square off against the North Linn Lynx at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Beckman 3.9, North Linn 2.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.

On Tuesday, Beckman made easy work of Dubuque Senior and carried off a 7-1 win. Considering the Trailblazers have won six contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, North Linn waltzed into their match on Tuesday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They skirted past the Savages 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Lynx have posted since July 16, 2024.

North Linn's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.1 runs over those games. As for Beckman, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season.
