Soccer Game Preview: Western Harnett vs. Triton + Official Tickets

Western Harnett is 0-10 against Triton since October of 2021 but things could change on Wednesday. The Eagles will look to defend their home pitch against the Hawks at 7:30 p.m. Western Harnett has given up an average of 6.4 goals per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Monday just wasn't the day for Western Harnett's offense. They lost 9-0 to Lee County on Monday. While losing is never fun, Western Harnett can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 569th, while Lee County are ranked 162nd).

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Triton was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor West Johnston could gain the upper hand on Monday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

With that draw, Triton's record moves to 3-10-1. As for Western Harnett, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11-1.
