Baseball Recap: Paris' Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Paris came into Friday's matchup having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Frankfort Christian Academy Royals on Friday as they made off with a 9-1 victory. Considering the Greyhounds have won eight games by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Paris' win bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Frankfort Christian Academy, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Paris will venture away from home to face off against Montgomery County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Greyhounds' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 8.4 runs per game this season. As for Frankfort Christian Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Burgin at 5:30 p.m. on May 11.
