On Thursday J.F. Webb's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured an 8-7 W against the South Granville Vikings. Those eight runs were actually the fewest the Warriors have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Simone Ovando was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. She has been hot recently, having also posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Makayla Jennings, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

J.F. Webb's record now sits at 7-0. As for South Granville, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. J.F. Webb will take on rival Cedar Ridge at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, South Granville is set to challenge their familiar foe Orange at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
