Warwick is a perfect 5-0 against Monticello since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Panthers at 11:00 a.m. Warwick will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

On Monday, Warwick narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Burke Catholic 9-7.

Meanwhile, Monticello fell victim to Washingtonville and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to the Wizards. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly ten runs.

Warwick's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Monticello, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Everything went Warwick's way against Monticello in their previous meeting back in May of 2025, as Warwick made off with a 17-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
