Basketball Recap: Terra Ceia Christian Extends Winning Streak to 15

Terra Ceia Christian had won 14 straight games and Ryan Ange did his part to make it 15 on Tuesday. The Terra Ceia Christian Knights took down the Heritage Christian Academy Patriots 59-45 thanks in part to Ange, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 14 rebounds. What's more, he also racked up three blocks, the most he's had since back in November of 2023.

Aidan Persons was another key player, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 13 boards. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Heritage Christian Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Parker Buetow, who posted 22 points. Another player making a difference was Bryce Anderson, who scored 12 points.

Terra Ceia Christian pushed their record up to 17-2 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.9 points per game. As for Heritage Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Terra Ceia Christian will welcome Ahoskie Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ahoskie Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Heritage Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Unity Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. Heritage Christian Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.2 points per game this season.
