Basketball Recap: Alta Vista Takes a Loss

Alta Vista was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a blow against the Ridgeview College Prep Lions, falling 73-44. While losing is never fun, the Lobos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 207th, while the Lions are ranked 77th).

Alta Vista's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Ridgeview College Prep, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.

Alta Vista has already played their next game, a 49-43 loss against Imagine Prep Coolidge on the 21st. As for Ridgeview College Prep, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 74-70 defeat against El Dorado on the 20th.
