Basketball Recap: Walhalla Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Cam Lusk and Jack Williams

Walhalla was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 72-51 to the Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines. The Razorbacks were down 52-28 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Walhalla's loss came despite strong showings from Jack Williams and Cam Lusk. Williams shot 45% from the field to rack up 16 points, while Lusk posted 12 points. Williams' evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Smith, who had no points and 14 boards.

Walhalla's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Prince Avenue Christian, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Looking ahead, Walhalla will venture away from home to take on Daniel at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Prince Avenue Christian, they will host Washington-Wilkes at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
