Mt. Hope and Burrillville are an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2017, but likely not for long. The Huskies will welcome the Broncos at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Mt. Hope is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Friday. They lost 18-1 to Barrington. Huskies fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Eagles since on Friday.

Mt. Hope saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ava Waddell, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Burrillville came up short against Johnston on Friday, falling 9-3. The Broncos have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Mt. Hope's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Burrillville, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Mt. Hope took their win against Burrillville in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 12-2 score. Do the Huskies have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Broncos turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
