Volleyball Recap: William Blount Takes Down Ranked Christ Presbyterian Academy

William Blount faced Christ Presbyterian Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Governors narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Lions 2-1.

Ally Everett paced William Blount's offense, picking up eight kills. Everett got some help from Ella Reed and her 20 assists.

William Blount's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Christ Presbyterian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

William Blount wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Webb on the 25th. As for Christ Presbyterian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Franklin Road Academy on the 25th.
