Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Pius X). They blew past the Grants Pirates 20-3 on Tuesday. The Sartans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by ten runs or more this season.

Dominique Morett made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off one hit. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs.

In other batting news, Jordan Chavez was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Aubri Hooee was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI.
