Recap: Walnut Hills Eagles vs. Little Miami Panthers
Even though the Little Miami Panthers scored an imposing 57 points on Thursday, the Walnut Hills Eagles still came out on top. Walnut Hills secured a 62-57 W over Little Miami. Given Walnut Hills' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 120th, while Little Miami is ranked 283rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Despite the loss, Little Miami still got an impressive performance from Bella Houillion, who scored 25 points along with 9 rebounds and 5 steals. The game was Houillion's third in a row with at least ten points. Lilah Dalraine was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with 5 rebounds.
Walnut Hills' win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Little Miami, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Walnut Hills will be playing in front of their home fans against Turpin at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Turpin focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 on Thursday. As for Little Miami, they will head out on the road to face off against Loveland at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Loveland focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 on Saturday.
