Soccer Recap: North Allegheny Falls Short Against Ranked Fox Chapel

North Allegheny faced Fox Chapel in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Tigers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Foxes. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Fox Chapel this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 back in September.

North Allegheny's goal came courtesy of Connor Heliger, who's now up to two this season.

North Allegheny's defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 9-5-2. As for Fox Chapel, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Allegheny will challenge Central Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Fox Chapel, they will face off against North Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Hills' last five matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
