Volleyball Recap: Wittenberg-Birnamwood Takes a Loss

Wittenberg-Birnamwood lost against Lake Mills back in August of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Chargers fell 2-0 to the L-Cats. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lily Metropulos paced Wittenberg-Birnamwood's offense, picking up four kills. Metropulos really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with four. Kaitlin Tuskowski controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Wittenberg-Birnamwood's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Lake Mills, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Wittenberg-Birnamwood has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Sheboygan North on the 29th. As for Lake Mills, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Cambridge on the 29th.
