Omaha North is 7-1 against Bellevue East since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Omaha North Vikings will host the Bellevue East Chieftains at 2:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

On Friday, Omaha North was beaten by Papillion-LaVista South 71-43. The match marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

The losing side was boosted by Ban Yor, who posted 11 points along with six boards and three steals. Another player making a difference was Jerri'On Williams, who put up six points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Bellevue East played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 65-34 loss at the hands of Papillion-LaVista. The Chieftains have struggled against the Monarchs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Bellevue East's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Omaha North, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Omaha North strolled past Bellevue East when the teams last played back in February of 2023 by a score of 71-52. Will Omaha North repeat their success, or does Bellevue East have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
