Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Pacifica Christian couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 64-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fairmont Prep Huskies. The Tritons' loss signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

When it comes to explaining why Pacifica Christian lost on Saturday, don't look at EJ Spillman. Despite the final result, he went 9-for-16 on his way to 29 points in addition to five assists and three steals. That's the most steals Spillman has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Noel, who scored 11 points and three steals.

Pacifica Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 23-8. As for Fairmont Prep, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-9.
