Swink has been on the road for six straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Swallows Charter Academy Spartans at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Swallows Charter Academy took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Swink, who comes in off a win.
Swink posted their biggest win yet this season on Friday. They really took it to Walsenburg for the full four quarters, racking up a 48-13 win on the road. The victory was just what Swink needed coming off of a 57-31 loss in their prior matchup.
Swink's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Jocelynn James, who scored 13 points, and Briana McElroy, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Wallace, who scored six points.
Swallows Charter Academy suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Monday. They were dealt a 93-15 loss at the hands of Peyton. Swallows Charter Academy has not had much luck with Peyton recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Swink's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-7. As for Swallows Charter Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.
Things could have been worse for Swink, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 41-23 loss to Swallows Charter Academy in their previous matchup back in January of 2023.
