Baseball Game Preview: Presidio Blue Devils vs. Van Horn Eagles

The Presidio Blue Devils will challenge the Van Horn Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Fort Stockton hit Presidio with a eight-run fifth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Blue Devils came up short against the Panthers & Prowlers, falling 12-1. The Blue Devils haven't had much luck with the Panthers & Prowlers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles last Thursday. Van Horn lost 13-2 to Pecos.

Van Horn saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mike Chacon, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI.

Van Horn's loss dropped their record down to 0-6-2. As for Presidio, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
