Softball Recap: Bledsoe County Snags Eighth Victory in Last Ten Games

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Bledsoe County and Marion County meet (two straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. Bledsoe County put the hurt on Marion County with a sharp 10-2 victory. Considering Bledsoe County has won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Bledsoe County has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Marion County, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 15-16.
