Soccer Recap: Bloomfield Comes Up Short

Bloomfield and White River Valley squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Bloomfield had to settle for second. They lost 7-1 to the Wolverines. While losing is never fun, Bloomfield can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 316th, while White River Valley are ranked 151st).

Bloomfield has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 1-12-1 record this season. As for White River Valley, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-2.

Bloomfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for White River Valley, they will take on Eastern Greene at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
