Volleyball Recap: Lakota Tech Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Lakota Tech was the 2-0 winner over Bennett County when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Tatanka fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday.

Lakota Tech started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 23-25, 22-25, 25-18, 25-16, 15-5.

Lakota Tech's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 3-4. As for Bennett County, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lakota Tech will head out to square off against Mahpiya Luta at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bennett County, they will challenge Hill City at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
