Basketball Recap: Conway Christian Takes a Loss

Conway Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 45-36 to the Marlboro Academy Dragons. The Eagles were probably out for revenge after losing 52-48 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Despite the defeat, Conway Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Miles Crawford posted ten points and five assists.

Conway Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Marlboro Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season.

Conway Christian will venture away from home to challenge Carolina Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marlboro Academy, they will welcome Scotland Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
