Football Recap: West Trojans vs. Robinson Rockets
West kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of the Robinson Rockets by a score of 23-21.
Robinson was led to victory by Brice McCurdy and Steven Knight. McCurdy rushed for 116 yards on only nine carries, while Knight rushed for 82 yards and three touchdowns.
West will be playing in front of their home fans against Trinity Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Robinson, they are headed away from home for the first time to take on Caldwell at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
