Volleyball Recap: Edgemont Comes Up Short

If Edgemont was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Cody-Kilgore on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Moguls came up short against the Hot Springs Bison on Monday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bison this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

While Edgemont ultimately came up short, they really made Hot Springs work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 31-29, 25-13, 25-20.

Edgemont now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Hot Springs, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-12.

Edgemont has already played their next match, a 0-0 win against Oelrichs on the 9th. As for Hot Springs, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Custer on the 7th.
