Volleyball Recap: Edgemont Takes a Loss

If Edgemont was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Cody-Kilgore on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Moguls came up short against the Hot Springs Bison on Monday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Moguls have suffered since November 12, 2024.

Edgemont couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Hot Springs a tough time in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 31-29, 25-13, 25-20.

Raelee Provorse paced Edgemont's offense, picking up five kills. Provorse were helped by Kaylee Mergen and Maddison Hirschfeld, who contributed four assists each.

Edgemont's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Hot Springs, they pushed their record up to 14-11 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Edgemont will head out to take on Oelrichs at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hot Springs, they will take on Custer at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
