Basketball Recap: Cedar Park Christian's Win Ends Seven-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cedar Park Christian). They came out on top against the South Whidbey Falcons by a score of 56-46 on Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Eagles as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cody Redford, who went 7 for 13 on his way to 15 points in addition to seven boards and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Robby Sullivan, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 11 points in addition to six assists and three steals.

Cedar Park Christian's win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5. As for South Whidbey, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-4.

Cedar Park Christian will challenge King's at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th. South Whidbey has already played their next matchup, a 68-66 loss against Klahowya on the 11th.
