Preview: Braymer Bobcats vs. Higbee Tigers
The Braymer Bobcats will head out on the road to square off against the Higbee Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Braymer comes in on four and Higbee on 14.
In what's become a running theme this season, Braymer gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They blew past Tina-Avalon 60-28 on the road.
Meanwhile, Higbee put the finishing touches on their 11th blowout victory of the season on Monday. They breezed by Southwest on the road to the tune of 77-38. Given Higbee's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 188th, while Southwest is ranked 539th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Braymer has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Higbee, their win bumped their record up to 16-1.
Braymer lost to Higbee on the road by a decisive 68-54 margin when the teams last played back in January of 2023. Can Braymer avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
