Recap: Pana Panthers vs. Vandalia Vandals
The Pana Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 56-22 loss at the hands of Vandalia. Pana was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-8.
Joey Laker was Pana's leading scorer, having posted nine points.
Lilly Rochkes took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with an assist.
Pana's loss was their ninth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-24. As for Vandalia, their win bumped their record up to 7-19.
Pana will look to defend their home court on Monday against Hillsboro at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Pana focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Thursday. As for Vandalia, they will head out on the road to square off against Greenville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Greenville has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
