Softball Recap: Bonners Ferry Comes Up Short

Bonners Ferry fell victim to Timberlake and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 15-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-1 on Friday.

This is the second loss in a row for Bonners Ferry and nudges their season record down to 7-7. As for Timberlake, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-2.

Coming up, Bonners Ferry will head out to take on Post Falls at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Badgers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Trojans have averaged an impressive 7.4 runs per game this season. As for Timberlake, they will face off against Lake City at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Timberwolves have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.68 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
