Basketball Game Preview: Hackettstown Tigers vs. Wallkill Valley Rangers

Hackettstown is 8-2 against Wallkill Valley since January of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Hackettstown Tigers are taking a road trip to face off against the Wallkill Valley Rangers at 4:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

Last Tuesday, Hackettstown ended up a good deal behind Lenape Valley and lost 55-41.

Meanwhile, Wallkill Valley came up short against Veritas Christian Academy on Thursday and fell 50-38.

Wallkill Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Hackettstown, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.

Hackettstown came up short against Wallkill Valley in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, falling 57-46. Can Hackettstown avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
