Basketball Game Preview: Acton-Boxborough The Revolution vs. Tewksbury Memorial Redmen

The Acton-Boxborough The Revolution will face off against the Tewksbury Memorial Redmen at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Acton-Boxborough sitting on three straight victories and Tewksbury Memorial on six.

Last Tuesday, Acton-Boxborough got the win against Wayland by a conclusive 74-51. The matchup marked the The Revolution's most dominant win of the season so far.

Meanwhile, Tewksbury Memorial hadn't done well against Andover recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Tewksbury Memorial came out on top against Andover by a score of 54-41. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Redmen's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 53rd, while the Golden Warriors are ranked tenth).

Tewksbury Memorial's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for Acton-Boxborough, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.
