Baseball Recap: Circle Christian Starts off Right with Win over Jones

Circle Christian had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Jones Fightin' Tigers 21-2.

Circle Christian got a massive performance out of Bryan Auld, who scored three runs and stole one base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Jon Waldrop, who scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Circle Christian will venture away from home to challenge Geneva at 4:10 p.m. on Monday. As for Jones, they are taking a road trip to take on Crooms Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Jones comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
