Baseball Recap: Freedom Takes a Loss

Freedom had taken Waupaca down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Monday. The Irish took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Comets. The Irish were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Comets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.

Freedom's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Waupaca, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-5.

While Freedom had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
