Volleyball Recap: Ankeny Centennial's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Ten

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Ankeny Centennial walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Southeast Polk Rams on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Jaguars sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.

Ankeny Centennial was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-11, 25-18.

Mady Ott paced Ankeny Centennial's offense, picking up nine kills. Ott got some help from Maegan Cheeseman and her 18 assists. Ellie Pollock controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Ankeny Centennial's record is now 32-5. As for Southeast Polk, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-15.

As of now, neither Ankeny Centennial nor the Rams have any future games scheduled.
