Mayfield faced Eldorado in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Trojans came up short against the Golden Eagles, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Mayfield of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.
