Volleyball Recap: Fort Lupton Takes a Loss

Fort Lupton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Forge Christian Fury, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Fury this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on April 8th.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Forge Christian scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-18, 25-17.

Sebastian Gallegos paced Fort Lupton's offense, picking up seven kills. Gallegos got some help from Aaron Encinia and his 12 assists.

Fort Lupton's loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Forge Christian, their win bumped their record up to 7-16.

As of now, neither Fort Lupton nor the Fury have any future games scheduled.
