Volleyball Recap: Bel Air Takes a Loss

Bel Air was the 3-2 winner over Andress when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Highlanders fell 3-1 to the Eagles on Tuesday. The Highlanders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 19-25, 25-22, 25-18.

Katherine Rios paced Bel Air's offense, picking up eight kills. Rios got some help from Bela Escarcega and her eight assists. Escarcega was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Bel Air's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Andress, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bel Air will venture away from home to challenge Mountain View at 6:35 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Andress, they will square off against El Dorado at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
