Iola has gone a perfect 10-0 against Snook recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will square off against the Bluejays at 6:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Iola has three straight wins, Snook has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Weston Roubion was incredible, firing off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. Those two home runs gave him a new career-high. Kayde Dreher also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
Iola always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .681. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive games.
Round Top-Carmine hit Snook with a 18-run third inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bluejays came up short against the Cubs, falling 19-4.
Tristan Yen was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and two runs. Jordan Price was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one double.
Iola's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-4. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Snook, their loss dropped their record down to 2-19.
Snook's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Iola has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .480. It's a different story for Snook, though, as they've only averaged .358. Will they be able to contain Iola's hitters?
Iola took their victory against Snook in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 18-2 score. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Bluejays have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
