Baseball Recap: Polo Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Polo can now relate to. They fell 9-4 to the West Carroll Thunder on Monday. The Marcos just can't catch a break and have now endured seven losses in a row.

Dawson Foster made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with one double and one RBI. Jeffrey Donaldson was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

Polo's defeat dropped their record down to 4-20. As for West Carroll, they moved to 2-17 with that win, which also ended their 17-game losing streak.

As of now, neither Polo nor the Thunder have any future games scheduled.
