Baseball Recap: South Lake Comes Up Short

South Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 11-10 heartbreaker at the hands of the Eastpointe Shamrocks. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Shamrocks this season, with their most recent defeat being a 20-5 loss back in April.

South Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Eastpointe, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-5 record.

South Lake has already played their next game (against Pontiac), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Eastpointe, they are taking a road trip to challenge Madison at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
