Football Recap: Make It Four in a Row for North Hagerstown

North Hagerstown's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with an 18-7 win over the Central Woodstock Falcons. While the Hubs didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-6), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Ty'Qwell Fauntleroy and Michael Stewart. Fauntleroy rushed for 101 yards and one TD while Stewart rushed for 75 yards on only ten carries. Stewart was even better on defense, making nine total tackles and defending one pass in addition to snagging an interception.

The victory keeps North Hagerstown at an undefeated 4-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.8 points on average this season. As for Central Woodstock, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Coming up, North Hagerstown will venture away from home to challenge Century at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Central Woodstock, they will welcome Skyline at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
