Football Recap: North Hagerstown Hubs vs. Central Woodstock Falcons
North Hagerstown's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with an 18-7 win over the Central Woodstock Falcons. While the Hubs didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-6), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Ty'Qwell Fauntleroy and Michael Stewart. Fauntleroy rushed for 101 yards and one TD while Stewart rushed for 75 yards on only ten carries. Stewart was even better on defense, making nine total tackles and defending one pass in addition to snagging an interception.
