Basketball Recap: Iowa-Grant Takes a Loss

Iowa-Grant lost against Cuba City back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Iowa-Grant Panthers were beaten by the Cuba City Cubans 92-28. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 362nd, while the Cubans are ranked 35th).

Iowa-Grant has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for Cuba City, their victory bumped their record up to 14-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Iowa-Grant will face off against Lancaster at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cuba City has already played their next matchup (against Riverdale), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
