Brecksville-Broadview Heights pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.4 runs over those games. As for Stow-Munroe Falls, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
Stow-Munroe Falls' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Brecksville-Broadview Heights has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11.4 hits per game. It's a different story for Stow-Munroe Falls, though, as they've been averaging 9.7 hits.
