Football Game Recap: Zephyrhills vs. Sunlake

Sunlake fought the good fight in their overtime game on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. It was close but no cigar for Sunlake as they fell 7-10 to Zephyrhills. If Sunlake were hoping to take revenge for the 7-36 loss against Zephyrhills the last time the teams met, then they were left disappointed.

The defeat dropped Sunlake's record to 1-0. The win bumped Zephyrhills's record up to 1-0.

Sunlake will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Wiregrass Ranch . With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the victory. As for Zephyrhills, they will face off against Lake Gibson.
