Basketball Game Preview: Fayetteville Christian Eagles vs. Christian Ministries Academy Conquerors

The Fayetteville Christian Eagles will square off against the Christian Ministries Academy Conquerors at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Fayetteville Christian is headed into Saturday's contest hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight defeats. They lost to Miami on the road by a 61-46 margin back in January.

Meanwhile, Christian Ministries Academy extended their postseason success on Friday against Gospel Light Christian. They put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 57-37 win. The Conquerors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 20 points or more this season.

Fayetteville Christian better keep an eye on Nolan Bradshaw. He was instrumental in Christian Ministries Academy's win, dropping a double-double with 28 points and 13 rebounds. That's the most boards Bradshaw has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Hicks, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds.

The victory made it two in a row for Christian Ministries Academy and bumps their season record up to 20-6. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 20 points. As for Fayetteville Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 15-5.

Fayetteville Christian was dealt a bruising 63-36 defeat at the hands of Christian Ministries Academy in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Can Fayetteville Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
