Basketball Recap: Cristo Rey Research Triangle Takes a Loss

Cristo Rey Research Triangle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They were beaten by the Carolina Friends Quakers 55-27. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulls this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-25 on January 8th.

Cristo Rey Research Triangle's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Carolina Friends, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cristo Rey Research Triangle will challenge Excelsior Classical Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Carolina Friends, they will square off against The Burlington School at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
