Softball Recap: Catasauqua Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Catasauqua's offense. They came up short against the Pen Argyl Green Knights on Tuesday, falling 19-0. The Rough Riders haven't had much luck with the Green Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Catasauqua saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Briana Deschaine, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base. That stolen base was Deschaine's first of the season.

Catasauqua's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Pen Argyl, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.

Looking ahead, Catasauqua will be playing at home against Salisbury Township at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pen Argyl, they will take on Saucon Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
