St. Elizabeth lost to Macks Creek back in December of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The St. Elizabeth Hornets walked away with a 44-34 win over the Macks Creek Pirates. Winning may never get old, but the Hornets sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.
Macks Creek lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Brooklyn Duggan, who posted ten points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Seaholm, who put up four points in addition to eight rebounds and three blocks.
St. Elizabeth's victory bumped their record up to 22-5. As for Macks Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 21-5.
Looking ahead, St. Elizabeth will challenge Northwest at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Northwest will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something St. Elizabeth surely won't give up without a fight. Macks Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
