Lathrop lost against Barrow on Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Malemutes fell just short of the Whalers by a score of 2-1. The Malemutes' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Lathrop started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 13-25, 25-13, 16-14.

Lathrop's loss dropped their record down to 19-25-10. As for Barrow, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 35-13-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Lathrop nor Barrow have any future games scheduled.
